~ WANDERING ~
Envisioned by Shelley L. Flynn
"I know such dream realms, for I drift so often
to and within my own ... I love to wander the
cool, shaded paths, and watch the moonlight
weave webs of light through the treetops ... the
harmony of the light-music which glistens on and
in the air is as refreshing as gentle spring rain, and
who could possibly resist the urge to dance and caper
under the whispering leaves ...
Oh, how well I know the Faeries of the Mists ... they
often converge at my own special waterfall, adding
their rainbows of shimmering light to the fine droplets
of color which shine so beautifully around the edge of
the pool ... the mermaids are always so glad for their
company, and they catch the bits of light to weave
into their long hair, or string them on gossamer
threads of moonlight to make the finest and most
radiant tiaras and necklaces ...
What care I, for plans past made, for the past is
simple and easy to adjust and rearrange ... such
meetings are always so grand and glorious, and
'tis a special joy to receive his invitations ... he
always gifts us with pouches of his own pixie
dust, which has its own unique qualities of magic ...
And won't they be so very surprised and pleased
and enchanted by this event, for the Senior Magician
always knows just how and what will enthrall ... so
good she is, and so generous and playful, and won't
the whole universe reflect the happiness and merriment
that will be felt by all ...
Such a wondrous artist he is, with his displays of
color and talent, and to sip the ambrosia of a rainbow
is so very uplifting to the heart and passion and soul ...
the Sanctuary of Souls is a place of reverent thanksgiving,
and it soothes away the cares of the world ... no worries
here, no troubles, only the certainty of eternity ...
I know this longing, and feel it so often ... and how very
glad I will be when I am finally able to arrive in my own
forever, and nevermore have to leave ..."
